Flutterby Makes A Great Crochet Christmas Stocking
Create your own crochet Christmas stocking by making cute Christmas themed Flutterby Coasters and assembling them into a stocking. This is such a fun and easy project with no toe or heal shaping required! I attached the little squares together with the super simple single crochet join method.
This idea would work for any granny square and I look forward to designing new squares for just this purpose in the future.

Using the Flutterby Coaster pattern (not included with these instructions), create the first 10 rows. The pieces used for this stocking do not add the edging.
To add additional details to your stocking design, change to a contrasting yarn color at the end of Row 9 for a color change on Row 10.
Special Stitches
