Crochet Dishcloths Easy Pattern
Crochet Easy Coaster Pattern Flutterby

I wore out all my dishcloths so I made this free crochet dishcloths pattern that works to make coasters, too! So simple, but a really handy pattern.

Free Crochet Dishcloths Pattern

Crochet dish cloths and coasters make perfect kitchen housewarming presents. The Flutterby pattern is so easy to crochet – you can quickly make them up for all your family and friends.

Or, you can just save all of the cuteness for yourself and take a much needed coffee (or tea) break with your new coasters. I won’t tell anyone.

I love to design crochet pieces with built-in borders–they work up quick! This little mitered crochet square frames up so simply as a crochet coaster or dishcloth.

Plus, I love a simple pattern than uses beginner crochet stitches like the single crochet and double, but doesn’t end up looking like a granny square.

And it’s not like you need to use some special kitchen cotton to make these, just Aran Weight (not Worsted weight) and you’re ready to stitch a dishcloth!

So grab your crochet hook and get ready to make this easy crochet dishcloth or free crochet coaster pattern. You will be delighted with the results as either of these projects work up surprisingly fast.

I’d love to see your creations, tag me on my Instagram design account @GoldenStrandStudio

Psst — the Flutterby is also a blanket.

The full free pattern is provided below including all sizes, materials, and notes. An ad-free PDF version of the Flutterby pattern is also available for you to purchase, download, and print out.
