If you’re looking for DIY crochet projects to keep little fingers warm (in a super cute fashion), you are going to love making thumbless toddler crochet mittens from my Gathered Buds Collection. Using the pattern directions below, you’ll have a set made in lickety-split.

If you are wondering, “Why thumbless?” check out the pattern post for the toddler Winter Spun mittens. Then check out the free patterns to make the Gathered Buds Ear Warmer or the Gathered Buds Hat for your precious little ones to create a matching set.

These little mitts are a really quick make and full of crochet texture. Simply working front and back loops create all the interest you could want in the body of this mitten and then they are topped of perfectly with bean stitches at the wrist. They make such a precious accessory for your little ones.

Additional sizes for the Gathered Buds Mittens are available to make matching mittens for your entire family.

The free pattern is provided below including the size, materials, and notes. An ad-free PDF version of the Gathered Buds Mitten pattern is also available for you to purchase, download, and print out.

For rounds 4-17 the stitches would be increasing if I did a BLO and FLO per stitch… are you supposed to do BLO for the first stitch and then a FLO for the second stitch?
