The Gathered Buds crochet mitten pattern is so easy to crochet. Worked from fingertips to cuff, you are going to love the contrast of crochet textures. The body of the mitten gets texture from simple, alternating front loop and back loop stitches that transition smoothly into the pretty puff stitches of the cuff. They are such a pretty match for other Gathered Buds pieces.

There is nothing like slipping on a pair of handmade mittens, in the yarn color of your choice, and heading out into the cold. This mitten pattern was designed for you to stay warm and cozy — the puff stitch cuffs will snug right around your wrists for a beautiful fit.

So whether you are making a pair of these beautiful mittens to keep for yourself or creating pieces to keep friends and family warm, the Gathered Buds Mitten pattern is a wonderful pattern choice. Actually all of the pieces in the Gathered Buds Collection are perfect for creating a cocoon of handmade warmth for yourself or someone you love.

The free pattern is provided below including the size, materials, and notes. An ad-free PDF version of the Gathered Buds Mitten pattern is also available for you to purchase, download, and print out.

Thank you for this lovely pattern!
There is a mistake in rows 32 and 34 – the * should be before the skip stitch, rather than the single crochet (otherwise there won’t be enough stitches!)
Also on rows 31 and 33 the bean stitch includes skipping a stitch, so it’s inconsistent to include the skip separately in 32 and 34.
Otherwise I managed to make a mitten with this pattern having learnt to crochet this week, so thank you very much!
