If you’re a crochet beginner or even an expert, having an easy classic crochet blanket pattern can make gifting so easy!
Although I love a good vintage crochet granny square pattern, I just get bored with making the same thing over and over. I find it fun, sometimes, to make a beautiful crochet baby blanket pattern in one big swoop.
And, because it’s such an easy crochet afghan pattern, you can go classic or modern with the Enchanted Moments Blanket — and, as a bonus, this classic blanket pattern has a built in border design, which is just amazing.
Soft cream or another neutral tone is the perfect foil for this stitch pattern to create a traditional, classic baby blanket or throw. But, create a completely modern version by adding splashes of colorful stripes into the pattern. With either choice you can make a completely customized baby blanket or cozy lapghan for couch cuddles with your little one. The choices are just splendid!
If you want to practice this stitch pattern on a smaller project before committing to a full size baby blanket or throw, check out the Enchanted Moments Scarf pattern. This matching scarf uses set of the stitch repeat of this blanket pattern and makes a gorgeous infinity scarf that your friends and family would love to have.
