This crochet basket makes a great light summer project or handmade gift perfect for the holiday season.
Or, get a head start during the warmer weather on your DIY holiday makes by crocheting up a few of these baskets ahead of time as extra special gifts. You can really show someone you care when you take the time to make a handmade basket as part of a holiday gift presentation.
This soft basket measures in at a cute 6.5 inches in diameter, perfect for organization and displays. In the kitchen, I use my crochet baskets to display fruit for easy access. In the bathroom, I use them to hold rolled up washcloths for easy access for my guests.
But, holiday displays with handmade crochet baskets are my favorite! They are the best for showing off children’s nature finds in the fall, like all of those autumn leaves and pine cones. And at Christmas, they are perfect to display special ornaments for that perfect touch of handmade holiday decor.
